Overview
Submitting a claim for EHC and dental premiums that you’ve paid out is a great way to use your HSA funds.
The reimbursement amount is based on the 6 % ‘Member share’ portion and based on whether a Member has single or family status. You’ll be able to submit claims for premiums paid after the start of your Plan date, 2024-09-01. You can only claim the ‘Member share’ portion when submitting a claim.
Some Members of District 19 received a Special Contribution for EHC and dental premiums that were paid from 2024-02 to 2024-08. These claims are paid out through an automated claim reimbursement process. You can read more about the Special Contribution in this article.
Let’s take a closer look at the amounts for reimbursement.
