For a Provider (like a Physiotherapist, Chiropractor, Psychologist, etc.) to be eligible, they must be an Authorized Medical Practitioner in the province they're practicing in, and registered with the applicable regulatory body.
How do you know if they're an Authorized Medical Practitioner? Check on the CRA's website!
If the Practitioner type is listed, and there's a checkmark under the province you're receiving treatment in, they're eligible in that province.
As for that 'applicable regulatory body' mumbo jumbo - we always double check if a Provider is registered with the applicable regulatory body when processing claims, to make sure they're eligible.
